Little-engine-that-could Microsoft has been gearing up for months to debut the work of their newly minted XBox Entertainment Studios, which aims to turn the as-yet-unreleased Xbox One console into a one-stop shop for all things related to gaming, movies, television, web-browsing, and basically everything not involving work or sleep, although there's still several months until release. With television and film veterans like
Nancy Tellum and
Albert Page hired to run the unit, Microsoft seems pretty serious about bringing its vision of a vertical entertainment monopoly to you- happy days may indeed be near again.
